Manuel Diaz Cotan 1987. Musician from Olivares (Seville), profesional saxophonist, concert performer and teacher.
He studied music, specializing in saxophone at the Conservatory Francisco Guerrero of Seville where recieved a honorific award at the end of that stage. He continues his studies at the CSM Manuel Castillo of Seville, getting a degree of music with outstanding academic results in Saxophone and Chamber Music.
In 2009 Manuel was accepted at the prestiguos institution “Konservatrorium Wien Privatauniversitat” (Vienna-Austria). In this place he recieved lessons from Lars Mlekusch. Later, 2012, studied at the “Conservatoire National du Perpignan” (France) with the teacher Radek Knop, recieving the“gold medal” in Saxophone and Chamber Music for unanimity of the jury in the finals of the “Cycle Specialisé” (specialization of saxophone).
He has performed as in Spain as around the world (Austria, France, Italy, Marroco etc…).in adition to having atended and participated in many music workshops with teacher of a recognised international prestige, such as: Andrés Gomis Miguel Romero, Jose Antonio Santos, Radek Knop, Arno Bornkamp, Jöel Versavaud, Vincent David, Arno Bornkamp, Jean Marie Londeix, Nicolas Prost, Michael Goury…among others.
Currently he lives in Seville, where he teaches in some schools of music of the city, activity who he combines with many concenrts and performance with diferentes musical formations (wind orchestra, saxophone quartet, trio, duo wwith piano etc..) Also he develops a soloist project which is focusing in the musical entertaiment of different kind of events. Those projects are Chill-out Saxophonist and House Sax.
